  • Exploring The BIG Guide Online (1 pm to 1:55 pm Eastern Time); first Wednesday of each month. Learn about The BIG Guide Online from author Jean-Marc Hachey. PROVIDES: an overview of our job hunting philosophy, a review of the content and functionality of the site, and an introduction to the Student Advisor Tools section. This webinar provides an excellent review of the online resource: The BIG Guide to Living and Working Overseas. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Student advisors who wish to have a basic familiarity with our services and how to support students with their global career skills. We encourage all staff to attend this webinar, including career counselors, study abroad advisors and international student advisors. Teaching assistants and students are also welcome.

  • Marketing The BIG Guide Online and promoting global career skills (2 pm to 2:30 pm Eastern Time; first Wednesday of each month. PROVIDES: Review a selection of the many projects we offer to promote the acquisition of global career skills to students, faculty or alumni with The BIG Guide to Living and Working Overseas ONLINE. (See our list of projects at www.workingoverseas.com/college-site-access-marketing) WHO SHOULD ATTEND: This webinar is designed for anyone involved with getting the word out about the importance of global career skills and The BIG Guide Online. Taking this webinar will help you use the tools we have to increase your usage statistics for The BIG Guide Online and increase the impact of your efforts to help students build their international credentials.
