• UCSB Career Services is excited to offer our students access to the new, interactive, and easily accessible on-line version of The BIG Guide to Living and Working Overseas. The website gives access to thousands of searchable firms and NGOs and is filled with tools, tips and sound career advice for developing an international career. The BIG Guide Online is like cloning a huge team of digital international career counselors; students get access to Quick Guides, resume samples and job search advice on-line without an appointment. • The BIG Guide fills an important gap in our student advising services since we don't currently offer 'work abroad' or 'volunteer abroad' programs.  It is really convenient to be able to refer students to The BIG Guide for all the walk-in questions related to teaching English overseas, graduate study abroad, volunteering in the developing world, etc.  The Quick Guides have proven to be a really useful give-away at different on-campus events, serving to make our International Office activities more recognized within the University.
